Improved Delivery on Border Cams - August 10, 2008
We have had 7 continuous days of image delivery from our solar remote cams, and have increased our understanding of how to maintain
24/7 delivery with backup from other cams. The refresh rate is averaging once every 20 seconds but we can push that down to five
seconds when we obtain a higher bandwidth solution. We apologize for some of the occasional "Off Line" images, as cloudy days will
sometimes leave our solar cameras without power. The base station with satellite ISP is reliable 24/7 with few interruptions thanks to a
solar-gas generator combination.
Feel free to join as a Cyber Minuteman for FREE if you haven't at:

We have added 44 new Cyber Minutemen in this last e-mail campaign and hope to add many more. Please direct all your friends, such as
your e-mail contacts in your mail client.
We recently identified and reported our first group of eight illegals caught on camera by Cyber Minuteman Ridge Runner
on August 6, our first bust. When we add our motion sensor, additional cameras, and recruit more Minutemen, the odds of catching many
more will increase immensely. Some say "No news is good news" and as with Texas Governor Perry's website, no crossings is an
accomplishment proving many illegals are forced to go around and enter diminishing bottle-necks or not cross at all. But we know
participation is higher when Cyber Minutemen make the big bust and we don't want to disappoint as we aggressively pursue more camera
views and remote border watchers.

Thank you for your extended participation. Feel free to support our continued efforts to make our border mission possible with your donations
